            This Project’s story aimed to concept of video game I planed before. 

Most of story telling and characters’ idea were motivated from Japanese Anime and video game Cliché. However, back ground information and some of important idea came from real history as WWII, Cold War, and racial problem that in progress.

Synopsis

This is story of humanism. Not for pure gene not for certain race and not for certain nation.  This is story of war and adventure of  man made human officer Georgia who serve on Alliance military.

(Some organs are hard to figure out is she biologically male or female. )

She is kind of prototype model to do special operation. However, she is only one of her models because plan was canceled by unknown reason.  To prevent prototype model’s problem Georgia does not have ability to breeding.    She is immune from certain radiations.  She just get in war when she about to discharge, however, she does not know she is key to victory yet.

She made from Project Beta that planed by officer name Fibi. Project Beta is project that making new model of clone officer but Fibi used this project to make clone available to do impregnate, however first clones were in coma, however Fibi used their wombs to make next generation and Georgia born. She was known only one successful survived clone.

Georgia is Organic However, she is kind of man-made human like robot, and especially she is prototype of new model.  Before she gets in company 13^th

She was served in easy jobs even she had good skill, because her back ground was even more worse then the other clone officers and sometime clones having problem with real human.

13^th Garden is kind of airborne(or heliborne) troops with power armor and high tech weapon, and they conscripted when war started, This company’s soldiers are men and women all came from certain planet country name Dan-vitter where ruled by wealthy families who were first generation of colonial fleet.  Most of them has responsibility to lead their family, so they have complain and kind of superiority complex, but they are background are not evil. And this story is how they are being protector of humanity.

Other characters

Dájǐ Ling

 Georgia’s best friend whose do pilot of 13^thGarden. She is mercenary who hired by Alliance military. She act like stereotypical Chinese, but no body knows her past with out Georgia, she is only person who call Georgia to George.

Alliance military partially privatized.

CEO Karishe Lilim

CEO of defense industry company. She is person who supporting 13^thGarden to promote her company. She is known as a real human, but she is first generation clone officer who discharged more then 200 year ago.

Lt Randy Ruth

Sub commander of  13^thGarden he lost his sister when war started therefore he really gets pressed by his responsibility. 

Fibi

Military officer and clone scientist whose planed Georgia’s model.  Georgia is kind of clone of her.  In public she killed while arresting her because she tried to use her plan for her personal reason that to make clone that available to impregnate, because she had problem in her womb by unknown disease.

In real She assassinated from Union’s plan, Union worried about she is making new generation human. She was in kind of narcissism.

Time Line

Human started first space exodus to the other planet.

international 4^th exodus fleet found abandoned ship from the other civilization, and it was contained high technology that can help exodus. However, with out technology that ship not contained any information.

After human started settle up to space, they were devided by two groups.  Alliance based on democracy planets government and Union base on totalitarianism.  First time they started cold war, however it’s face to end in tragic way.

Special tips.

Union and Alliance’s population is keep changing a lot. However most well settled planet country’s average populations are over 240000000.

Officer resource

Both group do not have population problem but 30% of alliance military officers are man- made human.

Man-made human

Alliance military officer’s 30% are clone because they have rack of human resource that from reduce of recruit.  However, their soldiers are enough to against Union’s army. Any way reason why they are not making man made soldier is price.

Man made officers also have their rights. However, they are hard to promote higher rank. Instead of they serve more time then the other human, they got all free genetic advantage and medical treatment include keeping their age way longer then the other human, and they have less side effect then the other human.

However, not all society be welcome to them .

ALLIANCE

Alliance’s system has divided power. However while in wartime military department has most power and right of order to all planets’ Army.

They always try to have the standard of military gears.

based on Allied force of world war II, lots of democracy country and US military .

They are not really a group, they are kind of movement that made by soldier and officers who believe Alliance military needs flexible idea as do not discriminate man made officers.

UNION

Union’s system is special. Each plenets are ruled by dictator or strict communism rule. However when Union do their military operation, they need to do discussion by each plant’s represent as one democracy country.   No body know what’s behind of central group of Union.

Union is based on NAZI and Soviet.

The Seventh

Union’s armored suicide special force company. The seventh is not certain single group or name of company because Union has lots of same standard armored soldier group. Only they call The Seventh to certain company is when it include special commander that named seventh commander unit. He is kind of hero of union propaganda but no body knows who is commander.

Persepolis

Persepolis

            Persepolis is nonfiction graphic novel that based on author Marsan Satrapi’s life. This Novel contain period of growth that related tragic history of Iran. According to story Persepolis gives explanation that western country’s distorted view of Iran and how they influenced country.

            I impressed from Volume 1 which when author was young, because it showed about innocent girl’s view that shows reality of Iran.  Of course this book never contain any political message or harassment.

            Vol1 story is showing religious problem between Islam law and worldly value, as alcohol and fashion. Also, interesting point is out fit of god in young protagonist’s imagination, because Islam forbids having specific figure of god to forbid symbolism. This moment reminds this novel’s author is innocent young girl again.

            Author did not write this book to criticize Islam, she wanted people undertand Islam and stop discrimination.

Warren Ellis Transmetropolitan

Warren Ellis Transmetropolitan

Transmetropolitan is kind of religious hero fairy tail that stylized by noir style. At the first page, we see Spider Jerusalem the protagonist who looks like jesus. He covered with lots of religious tattoo. It is kind of obvious explanation, but readers can know he is important character and he is something cult style man. And also even story looks wild, sexual and violence, subsistence of story is how he save people from discrimination that come from corrupted society, and he also loves cats. Prominent symbols are overflowing in this graphic novel even include Spider's last name.

Graphic novel's quality is depend on efficient transmission between reader and writer. 

Reader can gets mainstream from picture and gets detail from writing. Without following these rule, good story or good picture or good writing's are useless.   Transmetropolitan follow this rule very well. Readers can understand Spider Jerusalem and readers can cheer to his good fight.

I believe Transmetropolitan can be good movie. For example, Transmetropolitan has specific theme and strong character that can appeal to audience. Also, this graphic novel's style is fit with good noir movie that with narration of protagonist. If it's being movie , it might feels like watching director version of Blade Runner.  

Media mix

Media mix

Media mix is one of tactics of subculture business. Comics can provide idea to game, and game can provide idea to comics, or it can be more widely use. For example, lots of gamers of HALO series might interest to HALO graphic novels, and this is one of successful basic tactics of media mix. Media-mix might take lots of budget and risk of fail because it is actually be frontier of other media, but it has advantage that start with prepared material then start from zero.

Media-mix might be give lots of positive effect, but sometime it not only gives positive effect. For example, Hasbro toys fell in mannerism in their universe about making character and story for making toys. And also, lots of subculture makers are not used to media mix, because most of them think media mix is same as instant commercial. Technically media-mix is same as expending universe, so it requires higher skill and budget then making instant commercial.  Also just expending universe with out plan is not good.Media-mix can cause new fandom but it can cause acquired situation that can losing fandom as lots of Japanese cartoons did.

We can know media-mix can be powerful way that expend business but also making media-mix with out preparation can cause big problem that losing all.    

Crisis of sub-culture: Gender VS Gender ?!

            This year we had big incident in video game. People named it Joy queen incident or ‘Queenspiracy’ that from name of female indi video game maker who provide source of this incident, because of this problem started from her scandal, but also this happened gets larger by crazily over reacted people who harass her. However, serious problem is not her and this essay is not about just Queenspiracy.

Problem is the third people who do not have any knowledge of video game and the other sub-culture made this childish incident to be ‘Gender VS Gender’ Problem. They are usually people who from Media, NGO, and useless people who want to be famous. They started criticize everything of female in sub-culture include comic.Of course part of these people’s opinion about female in sub- culture is right. Because of most of female in comic or video game had no right or less power and most of female’s positions were far from main protagonist. But it can’t be reason to these group of people criticize sub-culture industry and consumer as video gamer.

Comic, video game and novel are not real. Even it can give bad influence people, they can solve this problem by making right society in real life. They need to learn they are breaking freedom of expression to exchange with duty of teaching their children. How irresponsible for their life and their children? And bring Gender Vs Gender in unreal world to be issue is most stupid thing. If these people want to solve problem of female right, they need to make solution from real world.

And also Subculture consumers are not only certain gender. While they are making issue of stupide Gander Vs Gender battle, they ignored voice of female consumers, because these people already decided to consumers of sub culture are authoritative evil men.  These people believe they are fighting with sexual discrimination but ironically they are spreading sexual discrimination.
